Halloween Post

It’s end of October, which can only mean Halloween time!! Lots of costumes, parties, haunted houses and most importantly, candies! Now we all know that this is the best time for Disney, as their costumes and movies attract the target audience for Halloween, which also means free advertising for them.  Courtesy of Google, we found a few awesome costumes, which may as well be walking billboards for these corporations. Take a look and see what you think, as well as share your awesome costume ideas with us!

It's Diwali Time!

It’s time for Diwali again! Diwali also known as “festival of lights” is one of the most important festivals celebrated by the Hindus all over the world. It involves families coming together and performing traditional and cultural activities. These activities include praying together, visiting family and relatives, buying and exchanging gifts, lighting of the diyas, and children playing with fire crackers (under adult supervision of course!)
Diwali holds a great marketing opportunity to reach one of the fastest growing ethnic segments in Canada. The opportunity to speak to the Indo-Canadians at this time of the year can prove very successful with an active marketing strategy.
At Maple, we have been busy with the Bell Diwali campaign, working closely with Leo Burnett and LG2 to develop creative in various languages. Here's a glimpse of our work in various languages….

First Blog Ever!

Maple Diversity Communications is a full-service agency that specializes in multicultural marketing and advertising in Canada. We like to play by our strengths; and we play to win. For us, winning means treating our clients like partners and treating their visions and goals as our own. We will be using this blog to keep you up-to-date on our various activities and adventures.

“Multiculturalism is more than giving children the opportunity to learn Ukrainian or Yiddish or Finnish or Vietnamese. It means  to make them into secure citizens knowing that the traditions of everyone, including their own, are to be respected and cherished; that Canada is a nation that accords dignity to everyone, rather than suppressing peoples identities and thereby detracting them from their full sense of humanity.”—Rabbi W. Gunther Plaut
